To check the Aadhaar card status online, it is mandatory to get the registered mobile number verified, which can be done by following the various steps shown below:

  1. Visit the official website of UIDAI.
  2. On the homepage, there will be three sections under Aadhaar Online Services. Click on ‘Verify Email/Mobile  Number’ link under the Aadhaar Services section.
  3. The applicant will be directed to another page (https://resident.uidai.gov.in/verify-email-mobile).
  4. On that particular page, enter the 12 digit UID number which you received during enrolment, either the registered email ID or the mobile number you want to verify and the security code displayed on the screen.
  5. Once you fill in the details, click on ‘Send OTP’ button.
  6. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
  7. Enter the number and click on ‘Verify OTP’.

How to Check Aadhaar Card Status Through Mobile Number?

Below are the three steps which the applicant needs to follow:

  1. Visit the official UIDAI website.
  2. Under the ‘Aadhaar Enrolment’ section, click on ‘Retrieve lost UID/EID’ link which will redirect you to another page.
  3. Enter your name, e-mail id or mobile number and the security code displayed on the webpage.
  4. Click on ‘Send OTP’ button.
  5. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
  6. Enter the OTP details and click on ‘Verify OTP’.
