LIC online registration of new users

Follow these steps to register for LIC online services

  1. Visit LIC official website

  2. Click on ‘online services’ box

  3. Select ‘customer portal’

  4. You’ll find two choices- ‘registered user’ and ‘new user’

  5. Select ‘new user’

  6. Fill in the required details pertaining to your LIC policies, name, and date of birth of the policy holder, details of installment premium paid, etc.

  7. Click on ‘proceed’

  8. Choose a login ID and password. The login ID and password chosen by you will act as your LIC e-services account credentials

  9. You’ll receive a welcome mail on your registered email ID

The next time you wish to login, you’ll have to select the ‘registered user’ option under ‘customer portal’ and provide your registered credentials (user ID and password)  to avail of LIC online services.

How to enroll a new policy on the LIC online portal?

If you’re a registered user of LIC online services, you can enroll into a new LIC policy through the online portal. Follow these steps to enroll a new policy in your LIC e-services account-

  1. Login to your LIC account using your credentials

  2. When prompted, answer ‘Yes’ to the question ‘Do you have any LIC policies?’

  3. Fill up the LIC online policy enrolment form

  4. Click on submit

  5. Enter the policy number, details of the Life Insured and the premium amount applicable to the policy

  6. Your policy will be enrolled once you hit the ‘Submit’ button

  7. Take a print-out of the form for further reference

How to make payment of policy premium online without registration?

  1. Visit https://www.licindia.in/

  2. Click on ‘Pay Premium Online’

  3. Choose ‘Pay Direct’ option

  4. You will be redirected to LIC premium payments page

  5. Fill in the required details like name and date of birth of the policy owner, policy number, premium payment account details, email ID and mobile number.

  6. Verify the captcha

  7. Click on ‘Submit’

  8. Complete the registration process by selecting your choice of username and password

FAQS on LIC Login

If you have forgotten your username, then you can click on the ‘forgot username/password’ link and provide the required information like policy details, premium amount, date of birth, etc. Then fill up the captcha and click on submit.
