About Madhya Pradesh

The Indian state of Madhya Pradesh is located in central India. Bhopal is its capital city. Indore, Jabalpur, Ujjain, Gwalior, etc. are the other well-known cities in the state. The geographical location of the state has earned it the nickname of the ‘Heart of India.’ The state is home to more than 70 million people who mostly speak in various dialects of Hindi. Popular Festivals/Holidays in Madhya Pradesh
