Any customer who has a savings account or current account (with sole proprietorship) as well as a mobile number registered with Canara Bank can register for Canara Bank mobile banking.
Internet connection (3G or 4G)
Sufficient balance to send an SMS (Carrier charges by the network operator)
Sufficient storage in a device to download the application (Approx. 10 MB)
Active debit card for activation.
Steps to Install and Use the Canara Bank App
Visit the Google Play Store/App Store on your mobile and search for Canara Bank mobile banking app. Download and install the app.
After successful installation, tap on the app icon to open the app.
Select the preferred SIM (registered mobile number) if you have two SIM cards on your handset. An SMS will be sent from the selected SIM. Please ensure that sufficient balance is available on your mobile to send the SMS successfully.
After successful validation, an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
Enter the OTP to validate authenticity.
Create and confirm your five-digit numeric passcode to log in to the application.
Accept the terms and conditions after successfully creating the passcode or PIN.
Accept the application permissions.
For initiating any mobile banking transaction, create and confirm a six-digit numeric MPIN.
Click on ‘Set Now’ to activate your mobile banking account by entering your active debit card details.
Now you are all set to use the banking app. You can contact the bank at [email protected] or call 1800 425 0018 in case you face any difficulty in the registration process.
NOTE: The registered mobile number is the one which has been updated and linked with the customer ID of the Canara Bank account number.
