Yes Bank Net Banking is an internet-powered banking solution to serve you, the customer, anytime, anywhere. You can diligently use it for paying your bills, for recharges, or even to make cheque-book requests. All Yes Bank transactions are secured, yet the threat of cyber-theft still lingers. Therefore, it is always better to reset your passwords from time to time.
There are various ways to reset your Yes Bank login password. Let's look at the different ways one can get this done.
Using a Debit Card:
Visit www.yesbank.in and click on 'Login.' Then, choose 'Retail.'
Next, click on 'Forgot Your Password / Unlock Login ID.'
Click on the 'Bank Account (using Debit Card)' option and select 'Create New Password.'
Enter your Customer ID, 16-digit Debit card number, and PIN.
Next, set your password as guided on the Yes Bank NetBanking screen.
Then, tick the checkbox against 'Enable the Virtual Keyboard for entering password' to enter your new password using the virtual keyboard.
Accept the Terms & Conditions and then click on 'Create New Password.'
Finally, enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number, and you have successfully changed your login password for Yes Bank NetBanking.
Using a Credit Card:
Visit www.yesbank.in and click on 'Login'. Next, click on 'Retail'.
Next, click on 'Forgot Your Password / Unlock Login ID.'
Select the 'Credit Card' option and then select 'Create New Password'.
Then, enter your login ID, credit card number, card expiry date, and date of birth.
Next, set your password as guided on the screen.
You will then have to select 'Enable the Virtual Keyboard for entering password' to enter your password using the virtual keyboard.
Finally, accept the Terms & Conditions and click on 'Create New Password'. Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number to reset your password.
By Visiting the Home Branch: Offline Password Re-Issue Request
If nothing comes handy, you can use the offline mode to reset your password. The offline Retail Net Banking password can be issued through your home branch. Alternatively, you can also download the 'Account Maintenance & Channel Registration Form' from Yes Bank’s Form Centre and then submit the form to your home branch. You will receive the password by post to the address registered with your Yes Bank account.
Avoid using obvious passwords, which are easy for people to guess.
Never disclose your Yes Bank net banking password to anyone, including even the staff of Yes Bank.
Do change your password at regular intervals to avoid the threat of cyber-attacks.
Keep your ATM/Debit Card PIN very safe and never disclose it to anybody.
Also remember to destroy the PIN mailer for your ATM/Debit Card, after you have registered yourself.
Voila! Now changing your Yes Bank password has been made secure and can be done in a jiffy!
