Raebareli is a city as well as a municipal board that functions as the administrative headquarter of the Raebareli district in Uttar Pradesh. The city is situated on the bank of the Sai river, The city has many architectural wonders and sites, chief among which is a strong and spacious fort. The city is a part of the Gangetic alluvial plain. The mineral of importance in this area is kankar. Deposits of reh and brick earth are also found in the nearby areas. The Rae Bareli district is under the Lucknow division of the state. The city is divided into 15 blocks to ensure effective management and civic governance. The Bank did a partnership with UNEP for initiating successful solar loan program. The solar loan program was launched in April 2003 to promote financing of solar home systems in southern India. The 3 RRBs are sponsored by the Syndicate bank presently, and all are making a profit by generating the total business of Rs.42101 crore with 1348 branches as on 31st March 2015. The Syndicate Bank has repositioned its Logo by changing the color combinations, as a part of the brand building exercise. The combinations of Orange, Yellow, Black & White colors make the logo unique.
