Nizamabad is the 3rd largest city in the Indian state of Telangana. The name of the city is derived from the word Nizam that refers to the Nizam of Hyderabad and Abad which means Long Live in Urdu. The city is sometimes also referred to as The City of Nizams. The city was founded in the year 1905 when the Nizams Dominion was recognized. It was known as Indur earlier. The city has more than 3 lakh residents and experiences a tropical savanna type of climate. The Government of Telangana started the MeeSeva service at Nizamabad in order to provide all government facilities easily to the residents. The economy of Nizamabad is largely dependent upon industries and private businesses. The production of rice, sugar and spices greatly contributes to the citys economic growth. The city has also seen a real estate boom in the recent years. Apart from the typical south Indian food, Nizamabad is known for its Islamic cuisine. Nonvegetarian dishes like Tahari, Haleem, Nihari and Biryani are famous in the city.
the Prathama Bank is the first regional rural bank in India, sponsored by the Syndicate Bank in Moradabad district Uttar Pradesh on 2 October 1975. Its stocks of Syndicate Bank are listed on Bombay Stock Exchange, National Stock Exchange, and Bangalore Stock Exchange. The Bank did a partnership with UNEP for initiating successful solar loan program. The solar loan program was launched in April 2003 to promote financing of solar home systems in southern India. The 3 RRBs are sponsored by the Syndicate bank presently, and all are making a profit by generating the total business of Rs.42101 crore with 1348 branches as on 31st March 2015. The Syndicate Bank has repositioned its Logo by changing the color combinations, as a part of the brand building exercise. The combinations of Orange, Yellow, Black & White colors make the logo unique. The primary objective of logo repositioning is to provide a more clear understanding of what the organization stands for, earn loyalty from its customers, establishing a brand identity, and also to give the logo a more contemporary look in a continuously changing & dynamic business environment. The bank is hiring approximately 3000 young officers for replacing the officers getting retired. On November 7, 2017, Syndicate Bank created a human chain to spread awareness among the public for fighting with corruption. 14196 financial literacy programmes were organized to promote financial literacy in the villages, during the year 2015, in which 5.74 lakh persons were benefitted. Under PMJDY, the Bank has opened 3496559 number of accounts with a balance of Rs. 505 crore as on 31st March 2015.
