Mango is a suburb of Jamshedpur. The Subarnarekha River separates Mango from Jamshedpur and the two are connected via three parallel bridges. It is a huge region that is rapidly growing into a residential area. The region was once a little backward town but is now a thriving suburb and real estate hotbed. Although Mango is a part of the main city Jamshedpur, it has been given the status of a city by the government. It is a notified area that is run by a notified area committee known as the Mango Notified Area Committee. The state-run electricity board, JSEB, provides the electricity services to Mango. The doesnt yet have any household water delivery system at the moment. The city has recently made a deal with JUSCO who will provide tap water services to the area. Mango is primarily a residential area. It is now witnessing an immense real estate boom as many developers are building residential colonies in the area. There are two hospitals at Mango to assist the residents during medical emergencies. The MGM Hospital has a medical college associated with it. A few colleges have also been set up in the region. The city is undergoing rapid and vast development. The city has around 3 lakh residents who are mostly employed in the various industrial and service sectors in the adjoining Jamshedpur city.

Its stocks of Syndicate Bank are listed on Bombay Stock Exchange, National Stock Exchange, and Bangalore Stock Exchange. The Bank did a partnership with UNEP for initiating successful solar loan program. The solar loan program was launched in April 2003 to promote financing of solar home systems in southern India. The 3 RRBs are sponsored by the Syndicate bank presently, and all are making a profit by generating the total business of Rs.42101 crore with 1348 branches as on 31st March 2015. The Syndicate Bank has repositioned its Logo by changing the color combinations, as a part of the brand building exercise. The combinations of Orange, Yellow, Black & White colors make the logo unique. The primary objective of logo repositioning is to provide a more clear understanding of what the organization stands for, earn loyalty from its customers, establishing a brand identity, and also to give the logo a more contemporary look in a continuously changing & dynamic business environment. The bank is hiring approximately 3000 young officers for replacing the officers getting retired. On November 7, 2017, Syndicate Bank created a human chain to spread awareness among the public for fighting with corruption. 14196 financial literacy programmes were organized to promote financial literacy in the villages, during the year 2015, in which 5.74 lakh persons were benefitted. Under PMJDY, the Bank has opened 3496559 number of accounts with a balance of Rs. 505 crore as on 31st March 2015.
