Deoghar, considered to be a holy city, is a part of the Indian state of Jharkhand. It functions as the administrative headquarters of the Deoghar District. It is located in the Santhal Parganas division of harkhand. This city is known for the famed Baidyanath Dham Temple which is one of the 12 Jyotirlinga shrines in India.
