Miryalaguda is located in the Nalgonda district of Telangana. The city is being developed under the Indian Governments Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation scheme. The city has around 1 lakh residents and Telugu is the commonly spoken language in the area, followed by Urdu. The population of Miryalaguda comprises Hindu as well as Muslims. Apart from the regular festivals like Dusshera, Diwali, Ganesh Chaturthi, several regional festivals such as Bonalu and Bathkamma are celebrated in the area. The Muslims celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr, Ramadan, Milad-un-Nabi and Muharram. Water from the Left canal of Nagarjuna Sagar provides irrigation to Miryalguda, making the city green and commercially rich. Miryalguda is famous for the cultivation of paddy. It is one of the top 5 paddy markets in the state. Rapid expansion invited a lot of new settlers to Miryalaguda, which made the city quite congested. The city has many rice mills which provide employment opportunities to its residents.

Its stocks of Syndicate Bank are listed on Bombay Stock Exchange, National Stock Exchange, and Bangalore Stock Exchange. The Bank did a partnership with UNEP for initiating successful solar loan program. The solar loan program was launched in April 2003 to promote financing of solar home systems in southern India. The 3 RRBs are sponsored by the Syndicate bank presently, and all are making a profit by generating the total business of Rs.42101 crore with 1348 branches as on 31st March 2015. The Syndicate Bank has repositioned its Logo by changing the color combinations, as a part of the brand building exercise. The combinations of Orange, Yellow, Black & White colors make the logo unique. The primary objective of logo repositioning is to provide a more clear understanding of what the organization stands for, earn loyalty from its customers, establishing a brand identity, and also to give the logo a more contemporary look in a continuously changing & dynamic business environment. The bank is hiring approximately 3000 young officers for replacing the officers getting retired. On November 7, 2017, Syndicate Bank created a human chain to spread awareness among the public for fighting with corruption. 14196 financial literacy programmes were organized to promote financial literacy in the villages, during the year 2015, in which 5.74 lakh persons were benefitted. Under PMJDY, the Bank has opened 3496559 number of accounts with a balance of Rs. 505 crore as on 31st March 2015.
