Kanpur is an Indian city in the state of Uttar Pradesh. It was earlier known as "Cawnpore." It closely follows the state capital Lucknow in terms of area and population. The Federal Bank Limited based in Kochi, Kerala is a major private sector commercial bank. The Federal Bank had 1252 branches and 1680 ATMs across the country, as on 31 March 2016. Anyone having an Aadhaar Card and PAN Card, can open a Savings Bank Account and get their Account Number instantly using a mobile from anywhere through the new avatar of Fedbook. In August 2016, Lotza, the Unified Payment Interface app was launched by the Federal Bank.
