Nangloi Jat is popularly known as "Nangloi." It is a locality situated in the western district of the Union Territory of Delhi. The city surrounded by Paschim Vihar, Najafgarh, Bahadurgarh and Delhi Outer Ring road. The National Highway 10 or the Rohtak Road runs through Nangloi. The city is connected to the Delhi Metro on its Green Line. Some striking landmarks in Nangloi include Maharaja Surajmal Stadium, Krishan Mandir, Northern Railways Jal Neer Plant and Nangloi Railway Head. The region has developed tremendously since the liberalization of the Indian economy in 1991. It was built by the Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in 1650 and is definitely worth a visit.

In 1943, Rai Bahadur Lala Sohan Lal Ji, the first Chairman of OBC, founded it in Lahore. Within four years of its existence, the Oriental Bank of Commerce had to face Partition between India and Pakistan. The bank had to shut its branches in the newly formed Pakistan and move its registered office to Amritsar. The period of 1970-76 had been the most challenging phase in the history of the Bank. The OBC merged with Global Trust Bank (GTB) on 14 August 2004. The acquisition brought 103 branches with it, which increased OBCs branch number total to 1092.
