Dehradun is the interim capital of the north Indian state of Uttarakhand. It serves as a haven for tourists who visit the place for its natural beauty. Resting on the foothills of the Himalayas in the Doon valley, Dehradun connects tourists to the nearby popular tourist destinations like Nainital, Mussoorie, Haridwar and Rishikesh.
