How to Link PAN Card to HDFC Bank Account

According to the recent guidelines published by Government of India, it is mandatory for all the bank account holders to link their PAN details with their bank account. You can either follow online or offline modes to link PAN details with your HDFC bank account:

Online mode of linking PAN details with HDFC bank account

• Visit HDFC Internet Banking website
• Login using your HDFC netbanking credentials
• On the left side of the webpage, there’s a ‘request’ option
• Click on ‘Request’
• Enter your PAN number
• Select continue
• A confirmation message is received on your registered mobile number
• Your PAN details will be linked to your HDFC bank account within the prescribed time

How to link PAN details with your HDFC bank account offline

To link your PAN details with HDFC bank account, you need to visit your HDFC home branch, fill the PAN updation form/KYC form and submit it in the branch.

• Visit your Home Branch; the HDFC branch where you opened your bank account
• Ask for PAN Card Updation Form/KYC Form at the bank
• Submit the following documents after filling up the KYC form:

KYC/PAN Card Update Form

Photocopy of PAN card which is self-attested

Letter addressed to the Branch Manager requesting the update of PAN Card details in your bank account
