HDFC Bank customers can access their credit card statements via two modes - online and offline. Let's try to understand these methods in detail.
How to Check HDFC Credit Card Statement Through Net Banking
For accessing your HDFC credit card statement through this service, you need to register your credit card with net banking first. If you are already a customer of HDFC, your credit card would be automatically linked with your net banking account. Otherwise, you will have to register freshly for credit card net banking.
Once you are done with the registration, click on the 'Credit Cards' tab present on the left navigation bar.
Scroll down to the 'Enquire' option on the drop-down menu.
Now click on 'View Statement' from the options given under this tab.
Select the card number and the billing period.
When you click on the 'View' button, you will get two options to choose from:
Click to view/download
Return to view statement
Choosing 'Click to view/download' will let you download the statement as a pdf document on the next page.
The net banking facility helps the cardholder to track his/her spending and pay bills on time. Net banking can also be accessed on your mobile, as the dynamic portal of HDFC is designed accordingly. The username and password that you use for accessing internet banking can also be used for mobile banking. The menus and payment methodologies are the same in both modes.
How to Register for Getting HDFC Credit Card Statements on Email
Here are the steps to register for online credit card statements via email:
Log in to HDFC net banking.
Under the 'Credit Cards' tab, click on 'Request'.
Scroll down and then click on the 'Physical Statement Suppression' option.
Choose the ID from among the given options, on which you want to receive your statement:
Personal ID
Official ID
Complete the process by entering a valid email ID.
After the activation of this feature, the bank will send e-statements from the next billing cycle onward.
The email version of the credit card statement is digitally signed and secure.Hence, you need a password to open and download it.
In case you do not have access to internet banking, then you can request for the concerned service by visiting the nearest HDFC branch. You can also place a request for accessing credit card statements by contacting the customer care service managed by HDFC Bank.
